Betevé streamlines communication in its facilities with a Kroma by AEQ intercom
The public television of the metropolitan area of Barcelona relies on the Conexia intercom system from Kroma by AEQ with the new TP8000 series panels that allow professional quality audio over IP networks.
Beteve, the publicly owned local television channel focused on the metropolitan area of Barcelona, has carried out a technical renewal in which it has integrated the system of intercom Conexia de Kroma by AEQ with the new ones TP8000 series panels that allow professional quality audio over IP networks.
Betevé, previously known as Barcelona Televisió, began broadcasting on November 3, 1994, thanks to the unification of the channels of each Barcelona district into a single service, under the company Informació i Comunicació de Barcelona. Throughout its history it has followed different programming models, but a model of proximity and public service has been maintained. It has also stood out for its innovative character: it was the first local Catalan television to introduce teletext and the first in all of Spain to begin broadcasting in DVB-T with interactives in MHP.
Now, with the new intercom Conexia will streamline communication between professionals who work in different departments in your facilities.
Modular structure
The Conexia intercom system has a capacity of up to 1024x1024 crosspoints, with a modular card structure. What makes it special is the possibility of integrate intercom and broadcast audio sources into the same matrix, with sampling at 48 KHz 24 bits and a 100% redundant system.
The 8000 Series user panels have been designed to achieve the high level of broadcast-compatible audio quality that the digital technology of the Conexia and Crossnet matrices allows.
He Audio is digitized and processed at 24 bits at 48 kHz, which gives a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and negligible distortion and noise levels. Ease of installation has also been taken into account, which is why they incorporate a redundant IP port that handles high-quality audio in the international Dante AES67 format.
The entire project has been led by the technical manager of Betevé, George Columbus, in collaboration with AEQ's central technical services in Leganés and the commercial assistance of Nacho Olivella.
