RED launches a 7″ high-brightness touch monitor with 2,200 nits
The new DSMC2 Touch LCD monitor, with 1920x1200 resolution, allows you not to lose detail even in shots shot in broad daylight.
RED has just launched a new monitor designed for your cameras DSMC2, and 7″ high-bright touch LCD with 2,200 nits.
While the previous model only reached 350 nits, the new monitor, thanks to its high brightness, allows you to not lose detail even in broad daylight.
The new monitor also has a 1920x1200 resolution (slightly higher than the 1920x1136 of the previous model), a wider color gamut, a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and the same pixel density of 323 PPI.
The new monitor has a pOptically bonded touch screen with Gorilla Glass for greater durability.
Of note, it can be mounted to RED's DSMC2 Brain mount, or other 1/4-20 mounting surfaces, and provides a LEMO connection to the camera, making it an ideal monitoring option for cranes and wired remote viewing. It is also possible to use a Lemo DSMC2 A adapter together with this monitor to have mounting options away from the camera.
