NEC launches video wall with powerful calibration capabilities with SpectraView
The new line, made up of ten models, features an integrated SpectraView engine, which allows users to make adjustments to image quality to meet individual demands and deliver consistent color reproduction on each screen and across the entire wall.
On the eve of ISE 2019, NEC throw one new range of video walls providing a stunning visual experience for a wide variety of industries, including television studios and film production.
It is a line made up of ten models. The first two, UN462A and UN462VA, will be available in early February, and will make their public debut shortly after along with two other screens, the UN492S y UN552S, at ISE 2019, which will take place from February 5 to 8 at RAI Amsterdam.
Each video wall offers a high visual performance y powerful calibration capabilities thanks to the integrated motor SpectraView which allows you to adjust the image quality and offer homogeneous color reproduction on each screen and across the entire wall.
SpectraView makes installation easier, ensuring system integrators complete setup faster with lower costs.
The UN series also offers best-in-class readability, even in bright conditions, with a brightness of up to 700 cd/m2 and an anti-fog filter that eliminates reflections. One area of the screen eliminates distortion between individual screens.
Each model has been specifically designed to fit user priorities, from offering long-term low cost in mission-critical applications to reproducing richer colors for uses such as advertising and entertainment.
Martin Lienau, manager of large format displays at NEC Display Solutions Europe, notes that “NEC's new video wall series allows intelligent integration with a wide variety of sources through one of our OPS Slot-in PCs, Raspberry Pi computing modules or interfaces for content and information processing. With these devices, a wide range of companies will be able to attract their audiences thanks to the most attractive video content they will offer for years to come.”
