The Film Festival returns from October 1 to 3
This event, organized by the Federation of Cinematographic Distributors (FEDICINE), the Federation of Cinemas of Spain (FECE) and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), seeks to encourage attendance at movie theaters.
The fifteenth edition of the Film Festival will be celebrated throughout Spain on the days Monday 1st, Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd October. With this event, organized by the Federation of Film Distributors (FEDICINE), the Federation of Cinemas of Spain (HE DID) and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), the aim is to encourage attendance at movie theaters as a social and cultural habit, and to show the Industry's gratitude to all the viewers who enjoy the magic of movies on the big screen every year.
The mechanics for this new edition of the Film Festival are maintained, in such a way that spectators, except those under 14 and those over 60 years of age, will have to be accredited, starting today, September 4, at the website to obtain accreditation that will allow them to enjoy a reduced price per ticket during the three days of the event.
Tickets for the Film Festival can be purchased by three sales channels different: box office, ticket sales machines located in the cinema halls and usual online sales platforms.
The last edition of the Film Festival was held in the month of May and registered a total of 1,658,532 spectators during the three days of the event. Avengers: Infinity War, Champions y A peaceful place They were the films most watched by viewers.
In total, during the fourteen editions held to date, more than 20.7 million spectators have enjoyed the Film Festival. Two Spanish films, Eight Basque Surnames y A monster comes to see me They lead the historical ranking of spectators of the Film Festival.
