The interactive short 'Your first day in the case', from the RTVE.es Lab, awarded at the Cannes Corporate Awards 2018

The first interactive short linked to a fiction series in Spain, competes for the Gold, Silver or Grand Prize, the White Dolphin.

The interactive short Your first day in El Caso, project transmedia of the audiovisual innovation department of RTVE Digital, has been awarded in the interactive videos category in the IX edition of the Corporate Media & TV Awards 2018, which will be delivered in Cannes on September 27.

The project, the first interactive short linked to a fiction series in Spain, is up for the Gold, Silver or Grand Prize, the White Dolphin. It was the first to develop RTVE Digital within the transmedia universe of a TVE series and is part of the public channel's website's commitment to exploring new narratives that complement the experience of the viewer who wants something more than their favorite series.

The RTVE.es Lab, the audiovisual innovation department of the public broadcaster's website, developed the project in collaboration with the Transmedia department thinking about defining the best experience for the user. It is our own production with the collaboration of Plano a Plano, the producer of The case. Chronicle of events, an investigative series broadcast on La 1 inspired by the legendary weekly newspaper.

In this interactive short, the user faces the challenges that the editors of The Case face to solve a robbery. It has different recognitions, such as the bronze medal at the Lovie Awards, the most prestigious internet awards in Europe; Web of the Day at the Favorite Website Awards (FWA) and the CSS Design Awards, or Awwwards Web of the Day, awards that recognize the talent and effort of the best web designers, developers and agencies in the world.
