Orange Series: the first series channel in Spain in 4K

The new Orange channel, which will begin broadcasting on May 7, will focus on broadcasting series in 4K. Orange Series will also have on-demand productions available.

Orange will launch next May 7 Orange Series, its first series channel in Spain whose content can be enjoyed both in its linear programming (on dial 7) and on demand. This new channel will be incorporated, at no additional cost, into the offer Cine y Series from Orange TV.

Orange Series will also be the first channel launched by an operator in Spain whose programming will be dedicated to series in 4K quality. Orange TV customers will thus live the best television experience, enjoying the titles with the highest image and sound quality, in line with Orange's commitment to bringing them the best entertainment, wherever and whenever they want, now also in 4K and with the latest features Start Over y Last 7 days.

With this new 4K channel, Orange continues to strengthen its ultra high definition offering by offering its customers the highest image and sound quality in addition to the new functionalities of its 4K decoder: new advanced user interface and direct access to applications. In addition, Orange TV customers enjoy more than 40 premium channels, TV on demand and a video store that now has more than 900 titles, including premiere and catalog titles in 4K. All this to be enjoyed by television customers on any of the available devices: smartphones, tablets, PCs, connected TVs (Samsung, LG), Chromecast or Android TV devices.

Snatch, exclusively with Orange

For the launch of Orange Series, Orange has signed a agreement with Sony Pictures Televisionn, for the license of the series with which the channel will premiere, all of them with complete seasons. These contents include the expected Snatch, based on the well-known film by British director Guy Ritchie, which will be broadcast exclusively in Spain with Orange TV.

In the coming months, the Orange Series programming will be completed with other exclusive content, to which will be added Premium series already broadcast and known to the public such as House of Cards, Better Call Saul o Community and others available on demand such as Breaking Bad, Masters of Sex o The Blacklist.
