NASA channels in HD and UHD, now available through Eutelsat
Viewers in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Africa will now be able to follow NASA HD and NASA UHD broadcasts through the Eutelsat satellite network.
The channels NASA HD (NTV-3) y NASA Ultra HD (NTV-4), produced by the United States Space Agency, can now be followed in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa via satellite through Eutelsat.
Viewers in all these regions can now enjoy exceptional footage of the American space program, including launch coverage, life aboard the International Space Station, views of Earth from space, deep space exploration, the solar system, Mars, Playback of NASA classics like the Apollo program and documentaries about NASA's latest research and development work.
NASA TV HD is broadcast free-to-air from the popular video community Hotbird at 13° East for viewers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and via the 7° East video community for viewers in sub-Saharan Africa.
NASA TV UHD is also broadcast free-to-air by the Hotbird and 7° Este communities, as well as through the Fransat TV platform via the Eutelsat 5 West A satellite, for subscribers equipped with an Ultra HD compatible television. This channel has the technology of Harmonic for the delivery and processing of images with a resolution four times that of standard HD.
