EiTB will renew its editing systems with Edius from Grass Valley with Aicox Soluciones

After carrying out evaluation tests and selection of editing software compatible with different content formats in SD/HD qualities, Euskal Irrati Telebista has opted for the Grass Valley proposal.

Basque Radio Television (EiTB) will renew editing software tools in order to be able to work with current coding formats, especially oriented to High Definition.

To this end, the public entity of Basque radio television has awarded Aicox Solutions supplying non-linear editors Edius 9 Grass Valley. Aicox will provide this software as EiTB's HD migration plan progresses.

At its headquarters in Bilbao, EiTB has central infrastructure that facilitates the editing of audiovisual content for news, sports and light post-production current affairs programs.

For its part, at the Miramon headquarters, there are additional audiovisual content storage infrastructures, which support the editing flows of the programs produced in this center.

After carrying out evaluation tests and selection of editing software compatible with different content formats in SD/HD qualities, and that in turn met the integration requirements compatible with the rest of the content management systems and applications, EiTB has chosen to the proposal of the manufacturer Grass Valley.
