The actors Angie Cepeda, Edward James Olmos, Kate del Castillo and Miguel Ángel Silvestre have been in charge of making public the five nominees for each of the categories of the fourth edition of the Platino Ibero-American Cinema Awards, in an event held this Wednesday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The finalists have been decided by more than eighty international experts, members of the Fiction and Television Series Juries.

The nominees for the Platinum Award for Best Ibero-American Fiction Film are Aquarius (Doña Clara), by Kleber Mendonça Filho (Brazil); The Illustrious Citizen, by Gastón Duprat, Mariano Cohn (Argentina, Spain); The man of the thousand faces, by Alberto Rodríguez (Spain); Juliet, by Pedro Almodóvar (Spain) and Neruda, by Pablo Larraín (Chile, France, Argentina, USA and Spain).
