Shure expands its ULX-D and QLX-D microphone systems to the 1.5 and 1.8 GHz bands.

Users of ULX-D and QLX-D wireless systems are in luck, as Shure has confirmed, coinciding with ISE 2017, the availability of both systems in the 1.5 and 1.8GHz bands. In addition, a variety of accessories for ULX-D and QLX-D will also be available in these bands, including the UA844+ antenna distribution system, the UA874 active directional antenna, the UA221 passive antenna splitter, and the UA221 antenna distribution system. ULX-D digital wireless systems offer extremely efficient RF performance, network control, Dante digital audio and AES-256 encoding for professional sound reinforcement. Transmitter options include handheld and bodypack transmitter while the receiver comes in one, two and four channels.
The QLX-D series combines professional features with intuitive controls and easy setup. It offers optimized operation and transparent 24-bit digital audio. Various transmitter configurations include handheld, body worn, headset, lapel, clip-on instrument transmitters, and combinations. It is noteworthy that it allows advanced frequency coordination through Shure Wireless Workbench technology.
Both the ULX-D and QLX-D series can be powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries or AA batteries.
