DJI moves towards professional drones with the new Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire 2
The professional version of the popular Phanton has a camera with a one-inch sensor that offers 20 megapixels and the possibility of recording in slow motion (60fps) in 4K with a maximum bit rate of 100 Mbps and H.265 encoding.
DJI has just announced in Los Angeles the launch of two new drones, Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire 2, successors to the popular Phantom 4 and Inspire.
In the first case it is a professional evolution of the previous model since DJI has incorporated a camera with a one-inch sensor that offers 20 megapixels. The size of the sensor allows you to capture images in low light conditions with little noise. This camera also offers the possibility of recording slow motion video (60fps) in 4K with a maximum bit rate of 100 Mbps with compression based on the H.265 standard.
The Phantom 4 Pro, which can reach speeds of 70 kilometers per hour, incorporates the FlightAutonomy system, which generates a 3D map of the device's environment, allowing it to detect and avoid obstacles in mid-flight, and ActiveTrack, which follows subjects in flight. movement automatically. It also has TapFly, which allows you to direct the drone from a touch screen, and AR Route, an assistant that helps flight operators program a route on the screen.
Another novelty included in this equipment is the automated return home, a system that will guide the drone back in case of loss of GPS signal (avoiding obstacles).
DJI has provided this equipment with a new, more compact remote, with a high-brightness screen (which makes it easier to use in broad daylight), MicroSD slot, HDMI port and integrated GPS.
Inspire 2
As for the Inspire 2, it is a drone capable of accelerating from 0 to 80 kilometers per hour in just four seconds with a flight range of almost half an hour.
As a novelty, DJI has equipped this drone with two cameras: a front one from which the pilot supervises the flight and another for recording on the main gimble. Includes CineCore 2.0 software that allows you to process large images at high speed.
The DJI Inspire 2 will have two Zenmuse X4S cameras (one inch, 20 megapixels and 24mm focal length.9) and
