SGL updates FlashNet so it can read and process AXF objects
The new version will offer users greater flexibility by ensuring the long-term availability of content, regardless of the evolution of technology.
At the next NAB 2o16, in Las Vegas, SGL will present the new version of FlashNet, a solution designed to integrate perfectly with MAM's automation control systems, significantly improving the efficiency of workflows without intruding on users' personal desktops.
With a new user interface, FlashNet promises to further simplify archiving procedures. To do this, it will be able to read and process AXF objects, which will result in greater flexibility ensuring the long-term availability of content, regardless of the evolution of technology.
Separately, SGL will announce at NAB support for Ci, Sony's cloud-based service that allows media professionals to collaborate on the creation and sharing of high-resolution, high-quality content. Thanks to this support it will be possible to quickly and easily transfer material directly to the cloud of your MAM system using FlashNet SGL.
