Based in Plouhernel in Brittany, France, studio Dizale is enjoying a steady increase in its dubbing and post-production workload. To help deliver projects as efficiently as possible, the company has invested in a post-production system Yamaha Nuage.

Founded in 1998 with the support of the Regional Council of Brittany, Dizale has specialized in the dubbing of films, television series and animation. Beyond this, the company is also working on a number of broadcast audio projects, including post-production, soundtracks and subtitling.

Jean-Mari Ollivier, sound engineer at Dizale, acknowledges that "we needed to improve our facilities, opting for Yamaha Nuage as the heart of the entire infrastructure. Our continued expansion meant we had to upgrade our systems. We wanted to invest in a state-of-the-art control surface. We looked at all the products available and found Nuage to be the ideal solution for both what we needed and our budget."

Supplied by Paris-based distributor 44.1, the Nuage system will also assist Dizale for the training of engineers for all roles in the audio production and dubbing industry.

"We produce and finish all the files here, so we don't limit ourselves to the choice of any particular software. Steinberg Nuendo offers all the services we need, so the combination of Nuage and Nuendo was perfect to help improve our productivity," says Ollivier.
