Alberto Rodríguez's film achieves the 10 awards it aspired to and '321 days in Michigan', by Enrique García, the ASECAN Novel Direction Award, in the awards granted by the Association of Film Writers of Andalusia.

The Association of Andalusian Film Writers, ASECAN, presented the 2015 ASECAN Andalusian Cinema Awards in Seville this weekend with an important presence of representatives of the Andalusian audiovisual sector and the support of the SGAE Foundation, a collaborating entity of the activities of the Asociation.

The movie The Minimum Island He obtained the ten awards he aspired to. Produced by Atipo Films, Atresmedia Films and Sacromonte Films, the film has thus received recognition from the Andalusian sector in a year in which Andalusia has once again stood out nationally for the quality of its audiovisual production and the talent of its creators.

Thus, the film produced and shot in Andalusia has won the best Film, Screenplay (for Alberto Rodríguez and Rafael Cobos), Direction (for Alberto Rodríguez), Music (for Julio de la Rosa), Editing (for José Manuel García Moyano), Sound (for Daniel de Zayas), Photography (for Álex Catalán), Costumes (for Fernando García), Artistic Direction (for Pepe Domínguez del Olmo) and Makeup and Hairstyling (For Yolanda Piña).

For your part 321 Days in Michigan, by Enrique García for La Nube Films, Encanta Films and Puraenvidia Films, won the Asecan Novel Direction Award.

During the 2015 Asecan Andalusian Cinema Awards gala, the 2015 Asecan Honor Award was awarded to Sevillian film director and actor Víctor Barrera in recognition of his extensive career dedicated to Andalusian cinema. Feroz Awards

The minimal island, also swept the second edition of the Feroz Awards that were presented last night at the Plaza de las Ventas in Madrid by the Association of Cinematographic Informants of Spain. The thriller won awards for best dramatic film, director, actor, editing, original music and trailer.

Besides, Magical Girl, by Carlos Vermut, won the award for best actress (Bárbara Lennie) and best script.

José Sacristán won the award for best supporting actor for Magical Girl, while an excited Itziar Aizpuru took the award for best supporting role for her role in Flowers.

Carmina and Amen, by Paco León, won the Feroz for best comedy. The documentary film It costs death took the special prize.

In this second edition of its awards, the Association of Cinematographic Informants of Spain awarded the Feroz de Honor Award to director Carlos Saura.
