India delays analogue switch-off again

The Indian government has again postponed the analogue television switch-off. The new date is scheduled for December of next year, one year later than initially planned.
Politically, India's new government has blamed the previous administration for this new delay.
While phases I and II of the blackout are already underway in large cities, the government's goal is for phase III to take place in June next year, although the initial date was scheduled for the end of this year.
Phases III and IV will require around 70 million decoders.
