CineOnLine, a new platform to watch first-run movies wherever, whenever and however you want
This new platform aims to dispense with the exploitation window for exhibition in cinemas, thus making access to film premieres cheaper.
The digital platform CineOnLine was born with the intention of offering the viewer a new Video On Demand option through the internet.
According to the director of this new proposal, Roberto Sanz: “two factors are what have driven the birth of the CineOnline project, the detection, on the one hand, of a cultural and sociological reality that directly influences the habit of consuming audiovisual works and, on the other hand, another, a conjunctural and economic reality that has recently caused another change in consumer habits in our country, in this case in entertainment."
This online platform offers the user the possibility of watching first-run films at an affordable price, with the aim of making it the first online cinema in Spain.
The long-term objectives that have been set are to offer the user the possibility of watching premiere cinematographic works wherever, whenever and however they want, to enable the service in areas of our geography where access to cinematographic culture is complicated and to dispense with the window exploitation of exhibition in cinemas, to thus make access to film premieres cheaper.
The operation of CineOnline allows easy navigation through its website, and a secure payment method, through Paypal and credit or debit card.
The download price of the premiere films will be 2.99 euros and once the films lose their premiere rating, they will cost only 1.99 euros.
For the launch, the platform will make the premiere film available to customers on Friday, July 18 Eyjafjallajökull or simply The volcano. It will be the first premiere, without previously passing through cinemas, that this platform offers. The film is directed by Alexandre Coffre (Une pure affaire, and the short film, presented in Cannes, Quitte ou Double) and stars Dany Boon (Welcome to the North, Asterix and Obélix: in the service of her Majesty) and Valérie Bonneton (Little Lies unimportant, À Coup Sûr).
It is a road movie that has swept the French box office that humorously narrates the bumpy journey of a divorced couple to get to their daughter's wedding.
