Mediaset España has implemented a content exchange manager based on IPTransfer technology from VSN, from the hand of Telefónica. Now, clients installed in remote locations receive the generated content over conventional Internet lines, thanks to the most advanced video transfer technologies through the UMP transfer acceleration protocol, developed by VSN, which allows reaching speeds much higher than FTP. conventional.

In addition, the VSN solution for the accelerated sending of Broadcast quality files over the Internet comes with an interface with content management with metadata and low resolution preview of the news. It also allows you to automate processes related to distribution. Until now, Mediaset España's Atlas news agency carried out this type of exchange through a satellite communication platform, with higher and less operational costs.

The solution proposed by VSN consists of the implementation of a server platform located in the Mediaset España facilities, which stores and manages the content generated by Atlas in folders to distribute news to its clients, mainly regional television stations such as Canal Sur, 8TV , BTV, La Voz de Galicia or TVCYL, among others. Finally, the VSN content exchange manager, among other functionalities, facilitates low-resolution viewing and the organization of content since it allows managing the catalog with rights management per user.
