Digital Vision extends its OEM alliances with Marquise and Sgo

The Mist and Mistika solutions will thus be integrated with Digital Vision technologies.

Digital Vision will now have two new OEM partners. Marquise Technologies will integrate Digital Vision's DVO image enrichment and image restoration tools into its Mist solution, while the Mistika post-production suite from Sgo It will interact with the Precision control surface developed by Digital Vision.

The task of managing content is increasingly complex, it is common to mix materials such as 35mm with RAW and each format requires specific corrections or improvements in terms of grain, noise or stabilization. Having the ability to make those improvements directly within the station through DVO mastering tools saves a lot of time and increases productivity.

The first DVO tools that will be integrated with Mist are DVO Camera and DVO Enhance and we will be able to see them at NAB 2014 at the Marquise Technologies booth.

The OEM agreement with SGO Mistika will offer users an additional option when it comes to choosing a “human interface” to manage the powerful grading tools that Mistika offers. While Mistika will continue to support Tangent Element panels, offering great efficiency, quality and comfort, users will now have the opportunity to use Precision Panel. Its integration with Mistika is scheduled for Q3 of this year, although we will be able to see its advantages in a preview that will be shown at NAB 2014.
