Tower of Collserola

Alan Dick Broadcast Limited (ADBL) has received a contract from Abertis Telecom for an update of the radio and television radiant systems in Torre Collserola in Barcelona. ADBL will thus be in charge of replacing the old panels with new FM CPOL systems in a configuration of eight that guarantees an omni-extreme pattern.

Abertis, one of the main shareholders of Torre de Collserola, has selected the Spearhead FM CPOL panels as they meet the specifications and the strictest requirements imposed by the tower to satisfy the demands of its customers. In addition to the commissioning of the system, ADBL will also carry out different factory acceptance tests to ensure optimal performance of the installation.

Spearhead CPOL FM antennas offer a very rugged display with a dipole mount that is constructed of galvanized steel, ensuring long-lasting, trouble-free service in the harshest environmental conditions. The Spearhead Panel, with its huge crossed radiating dipoles, was developed to meet the demanding requirements of high power. The panel is ideal for multi-channel operation in the 88-108 MHz FM band.
