wTVision and Unitecnic collaborate together to offer a complete playout automation service for DirecTV

wTVision and Unitecnic have worked for Imagina US, providing end-to-end solutions for two new Latin American DirecTV channels: OnDirecTV in HD and SD.

wTVision has customized its ChannelMaker modular product to integrate with other broadcast technologies, with the main objective of developing, together with Unitecnic, a new architectural structure with two DirecTv channels, one in standard definition and the other in high definition.

The structure of this project includes the integration of ChannelMaker with a video server Grass Valley, the Master Control Imagestore mixer Miranda, the video router Snell Cygnus and the ForeTV traffic system.

This structure includes ChannelMaker playout override for both standard definition and high definition channels.

ChannelMaker easily manages complex channel architectures, from simple primary and backup channel configurations to multiple channels, multiple stations, multiple installations, and multiple vendors.
