The National Assembly of France, as part of an upgrade to high definition, has opted for Hitachi DK-H100.

Following a public tender, the French National Assembly has purchased eight DK-H100s through local integrator Preview GM System. These cameras, which replace the SDI equipment existing to date, represent the emergence of high definition in the French parliamentary chamber.
Cristiano Castelli, audiovisual systems engineer at the Assembly, explained that “after studying different options, we opted for the Hitachi DK-H100 model due to its size and the quality-price ratio it offers us. The cameras are small and discreet and we are especially happy with the image quality they offer, as well as their fiber optic connection.”
With 577 deputies and more than 1,000 hours of annual debates, the National Assembly of France will now immediately have HD images for distribution on the parliamentary channel and for other media.
Mikaël Graignic, commercial director of the French integrator Preview GM System, highlighted that “this has been a significant integration project in a prestigious location and a very old building. This is a project of which we are very proud. We believe that Hitachi's DK-H100 cameras offer the French National Assembly a different and attractive option during the tender, impressing the Assembly's technical team with its size ratio and technical performance.”
The DK-H100 are multi-purpose POV cameras that feature 2.3 million native 1080i 3-CCD pixels with 14-bit A/D converters and the latest Hitachi digital processing technology.
