Viacom joins the list of customers who have opted for Brightcove in the last quarter such as All Nippon Air, Discovery Networks International, Exact Target, Nikon and Yves St. Laurent.

Viacom, one of the world's leading entertainment brands with a media reach of approximately 700 million users globally, has adopted the world's cloud services Brightcove for the dissemination of digital content through the different platforms and devices available to users. The multinational will use Brightcove technology in its multiple web and mobile distribution channels.

Viacom joins the list of customers who have opted for Brightcove in the last quarter such as All Nippon Air, Discovery Networks International, Exact Target, Nikon and Yves St. Laurent.

Total revenue for the third quarter of 2012 was $22.1 million for Brightcove, an increase of 32% from $16.7 million in the third quarter of 2011.

Gross profit for the third quarter of 2012 was $15.1 million, compared to $11.4 million in the third quarter of 2011. Non-GAAP gross profit for the third quarter of 2012 was $15.3 million, representing an annual increase of 34% and a non-GAAP margin of 69%.
