The most innovative animation projects will meet at 3D Wire 2012
Ten of the forty-three selected projects will be presented by their creators on Friday, October 12, as part of the Market programming. With Spanish production, some of the projects have foreign co-production, in this case from Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Canada, France, Colombia and the United States.
The future of Spanish animation and video games can be seen in the Second Call for Projects 3D Wire 2012, with a total of 43 projects, including 6 short films, 4 feature films, 15 animated series and 18 video games. 12 of the projects are in the pre-production phase, 16 are in full production and 15 are already completed. Some of the projects have foreign co-production, in this case from Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Canada, France, Colombia and the United States.
Ten of these projects will be presented on Friday, October 12, starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Quintanar Palace in Segovia, which, like last year, will be the headquarters of this fourth edition of 3D WIRE. The authors of each project will be present for the presentations.
The selected short films will also be eligible for the Elypse International Distribution Award for Best Short Film Project. This Award, granted by Elypse Short Film Distribution, consists of the distribution of the winning short film project in 50
national and international festivals.
For their part, the selected video game projects will be eligible for the RTVE Interactive Award for Best Video Game Project awarded by the RTVE Interactive Media department, with the added advantage that the selected project may be presented to the RTVE Interactive Directorate.
All selected projects will also be included in the official publication, which will serve to disseminate them both in the Market and in the various international events attended by 3D WIRE. In addition to the images that appear published in the catalog, it will also be possible to consult other materials of each project such as sketches, pilot chapters, teasers and dossiers in the Viewing Room enabled for this purpose in the Market.
