'Imperium': Antena 3 recreates the pomp of the Roman empire in Cinecittà
For the six episodes of the sequel to 'Hispania', Bambú considered filming in Morocco, Bulgaria or Cinecittà (Rome). Finally, the production company opted for the legendary studios where films such as 'La Dolce Vita', 'Ben Hur', 'Quo Vadis' and 'Gladiator' were produced.
Antena 3 premieres the new series this Wednesday's prime-time Imperium, 'spin off' of the successful Spain. Also produced by Bamboo (Gran Reserva, Gran Hotel, White Glove, Hispania…) the network's new fiction once again features the protagonists of Spain, such as Lluís Homar, Pepe Sancho, Nathalie Poza, Jesús Olmedo, Iván Sánchez, Ángela Cremonte or Thais Blume, among others.

Precisely, part of the team that set the series produced by HBO have collaborated with the Bambú team to launch this ambitious production filmed in the studios located on Vía Tuscolana.
Jacobo Martínez is in charge of the photography direction, using ARRI Alexa cameras supplied by Ovide, Master Prime optics and Alura zooms for filming.
