AmberFin increases the key functionality of its extensive application portfolio, without forgetting the simplicity of its products.

En IBC 2012 AmberFin will present new solutions for media file ingestion, transcoding and playback that allow the digitization and transformation of new and archival content.

Developed by the same team of engineers that made AmberFin's iCR solutions portfolio possible, the new proposals are specifically designed to meet the requirements and workflow of industry standards.

AmberFin thus increases the key functionality of its extensive application portfolio, without forgetting the simplicity of its products and, consequently, the user's return on investment.

Bruce Devlin, CTO of AmberFin, commented: “As we move into the multi-screen era, delivering content to a wide range of publishing platforms, it is increasingly essential for media companies to have more solutions. affordable and of the highest quality. The development of these products is customer-directed, responding to the needs of real and current customers. Additionally, it means that AmberFin addresses this dynamic market with the widest range of enterprise solutions from a simplified and unified point of view for ingest, transcode and playback.”

Among the new additions to the AmberFin iCR family that we will see at IBC, stand out AS11 and DPP (ingestion and transcoding of AS11 workflows and support for DPP metadata); the ICR-100-XDCAM transcoder and the ICR-300-XDCAM ingest station (which allow working with the popular MPEG2 and XDCAM IMX formats); the ICR-200-PLY and ICR-200-VTR material preparation and reproducing system; the ICR-100-PROXY transcoder (fast file generation on low); the ICR-500 AS-12 workstation (a PC with all the workstation functions for the creation and preparation of MXF material compatible with AS12, especially designed for the creation of spots in AS-12).
