Spanish cinema obtains a market share of 37% on the Puente de la Constitución
The Federation of Associations of Spanish Audiovisual Producers is pleased with the results that Spanish cinema has obtained, for the second consecutive year, at the Puente de la Constitución. The last Spanish premiere, Three meters above the sky from Globomedia, Zeta Cinema, Antena 3 Films and Charanga Films, on the Puente de la Constitución, achieved a collection of 4 million euros, and has become the most viewed film, by number of spectators, 626,645, and obtains the best average per copy with 10,438 euros.
Although to the American premiere of the weekend The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader It obtains the best collection for its 3D premiere, it does not surpass the Spanish one in viewers, 624,647, and it has almost 50% more copies distributed in our country, obtaining an average of 7,956 euros per copy.
Biutiful, produced on the Spanish side by Mod Producciones and Ikiru Films, in its first weekend, achieved second place in the ranking in average per copy with €4,059.
Two other Spanish films also remain in the top ten positions at the box office. In sixth position, Among Wolves from Wanda Vision and Arakao Films has obtained 469,798 euros and has exceeded 200,000 spectators; Julia's eyes by Rodar y Rodar Cine y Televisión and Antena 3 Films, after six weeks on the bill, remains in ninth place and has already exceeded one million spectators and 6,000,000 euros.
The Spanish Enjoy your food by Morena Films and Orio Productions, 18 foods from Tictac Producciones and ZircoZine and The Way from Filmax Animation, Castelao Productions, Castelao Pictures and Producions A Fonsagrada, also remain among the twenty most viewed films and it is worth highlighting their position at the Spanish box office with less than 60 copies each.
