AMX's new UTPRO HDMI matrix, now on sale
AMX's fastest and most powerful AV matrix, the UTPRO HDMI, is now on sale. It is capable of carrying uncompressed high definition content of 1920x1080p up to 100 meters, making it one of the highest performance switching switchers available for digital media.
AMX today announced the launch of its new UTPro-0808 HDMI matrix switcher. The HDMI UTPro carries uncompressed 1920x1080p high definition content up to 100 meters, making it one of the highest performance switching switchers available for digital media.
The HDMI UTPro can route up to eight different HDMI sources, with HDCP authentication, to local displays via wired HDMI, or to remote displays via a single UTP cable. Using the industry's highest 10.2 Gigabit per second transmission, users can transmit high-definition video, audio and control up to 100 meters without the need for repeaters. Another feature that really sets it apart from the rest is AMX's InstaGate technology. AMX HDCP InstaGate technology allows HDMI signal switching without delays due to HDCP re-authentication and eliminates interruption of the video stream through which the HDMI signal travels.
Speed and robustness
AMX Chief Technology Officer Robert Noble commented that “the facts speak for themselves, the HDMI UTPro, with transmission at 10.2 Gigabit per second, is the fastest and most robust digital AV solution today – enabling content that literally goes further. beyond HD. Having the security that our customers have the most innovative products in the industry is a constant objective for us.”
Ideal for residential applications, commercial and educational installations, the HDMI UTPro is compatible with HDMI 1.3, can support high-resolution video including 1920x1080p at 60Hz, and uses Valens' HDBaseT technology, a new standard for digital transmission. With native NetLinx functionality, the UTPro HDMI receivers offer users IR or Serial control of the display and includes an IR Tx for remote control of the system.
