What began as a pure anecdote on the Internet is becoming a social phenomenon among audiovisual professionals. The TweetPeli It is the first collaborative film that, using Twitter as a tool, aims to launch a zero-cost film project whose possible profits would be used for charitable purposes.

Its promoters, among others the Catalunya Radio journalist Valentí Sanjuán, took advantage of the popular social network to contact numerous professionals who quickly decided to participate in the project altruistically. Professionals of the stature of Nacho Vigalonso or Pol Turrents and companies such as Grau Luminotecnia They are collaborating completely selflessly in this interesting project.

Last weekend the first day of work took place in Barcelona to organize five different groups that will supervise script, communication, production, programming and design. For now, the call for stories will remain open in the coming weeks. The final script will try to encompass and interweave the proposals sent and chosen by the Twitter users.

To participate you must send a one-paragraph synopsis (around 140 words) with a story of one or at most two characters and a couple of locations, being able to shoot in a maximum of two days. And, of course, Twitter must be a tangential or structuring element of the story. As each of these stories will be part of a feature film where characters are mixed and situations are crossed, the scriptwriter must be willing for the story to be modified to give life to a truly exciting initiative... the TweetPeli.
