The F-35 available for rent at EPC
EPC has recently acquired the Sony F-35, one of the most advanced cameras for digital cinematography and high-end television and advertising productions.
EPC has added Sony's F-35 to its rental equipment portfolio. The camera has not taken long to make its debut in the veteran rental company, since according to The EPC Sensor, the camera has already worked on a Media Films production, Herois (Heroes), a film directed by Pau Freixas and cinematography by Julián Elizalde, which was shot in Barcelona.
Also the filmmaker Hatem Khraiche Ruiz-Zorrilla, nominated for a Goya this year for Machu Picchu, he has just shot his new short film in November with EPC's F35. In Genius and Figure has had José Martín in the photography, who combined the camera with the Master Primes lenses to achieve the look they were looking for. "The quality is incredible (true 4K), and combined with the Master Primes lenses they helped us achieve the look we were looking for," says the cinematographer in his blog The Rosete Brothers.
The F-35 records the highest image quality 4:4:4 RGB, from 1 to 50 frames per second, on tape and HDCAM SR format with built-in SRW-1 portable VTR, without the need for cables between the camera and the recorder. It has a Super 35mm CCD sensor and PL mount for 35mm lenses, it has an electronic viewfinder and is compatible with cinema accessories. And its gamma curve, the S-LOG, makes the camera capable of capturing maximum information in low, medium and high lights.
