Egatel presents its new designs for DTT at IFEMA
The subsidiary of the COMSA-EMTE business group exhibits at its Broadcast'09 stand the new range of 300Wrms amplifiers, DVB-T/H microtransmitters and DVB-T/H regenerative microremitters.
Egatel, a Spanish company, belonging to the COMSA-EMTE business group, specialized in the design, manufacture and installation of products and systems to meet the needs of the professional “broadcast” market, and particularly in relation to analog and digital television transmitters, is present at Broadcast'09 with a wide portfolio of solutions. Among its novelties, the new range of 300Wrms amplifiers, model AE9301, stands out, with very high efficiency LDMOS transistors. With these 3U 19” amplifiers and integrated power supplies, Egatel renews its range of medium and high power transmitters, offering optimal quality/price solutions for powers of 300W, 600w or 1200W, integrating 1, 2 or 4 amplifiers respectively. It is worth highlighting the degree of compaction achieved, as well as the improvements in electrical efficiency. The design of this new series is accompanied by the DVB-T/H exciter/modulator model TE9000E5 (evolution of the current TDE9000-E3), and the CCU9000 control unit for N+1 redundancy systems.
Also worth highlighting are its DVB-T/H microtransmitters, MTD5000 series, in a single module measuring 262x250x45 mm. as the most compact solution worldwide for digital transmitters of 1w and 5w power, with which configurations of up to 7 modules in 19” are possible with shared power supply and control unit. As an option, a GPS solution is presented, model GPS4, in 1U 19”, redundant power supply and 8 PPS and 10 MHz outputs. We also present a 1U 19” ASI matrix and an RF switching matrix (up to 5W), also integrated in 1U 19”, with which N+1 solutions are possible.
Finally, those who visit the Egatel stand at Broadcast'09 these days cannot miss its DVB-T/H regenerative microremitters, MRR5000 series, which have a single module of the same dimensions as the standard microremitter for 1w and 5w of power, with a regenerative micro-reemitter, demodulating and modulating the signal, and allowing the completion of MFN type DTT deployments. The integration of up to 7 modules in 19” with shared power supply and control unit is common to the entire 5000 series.
