Tom Sharma and Dominic Constandi, new CTO and CCO at Avid
Avid has made significant additions to its leadership team as it looks to meet the needs of the changing media landscape: Tom Sharma has been appointed CTO and Dominic Constandi will serve as CCO, while Kenna Hilburn will accelerate innovative product development from the position of senior vice president of product.
Tom Sharma, the new CTO, will bring more than a decade of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Sharma has played a key role in industry-defining innovations such as the launch of Hulu. Most recently, he was an advisor to venture capital funds, providing strategic guidance on product, technology and growth initiatives. Previously, he was Chief Product Officer at Integral Ad Science (IAS), a $500+ million ad tech software company, where he was part of the management team that grew revenue by 148% and led the company to an IPO. Sharma has also held leadership roles in media and entertainment, video streaming and ad tech, building global engineering teams and high-performance products. At Avid, he will be responsible for driving innovation and technology to create value for customers, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry advancements.
Dominic Constandi, Chief Customer Officer (CCO), joins Avid after leading large-scale customer teams at Sovos and ZoomInfo, where he helped grow the company’s annual recurring revenue to more than $1.2 billion. His leadership at Sovos included overseeing a client delivery team of more than 850 members, driving operational efficiencies and significantly improving retention and revenue growth. At Avid, Constandi will focus on reinforcing Avid’s culture of putting the customer first, looking for the company to ‘continue to deliver exceptional value to its customers around the world’.
Finally, Kenna Hilburn, senior vice president of product, has more than 17 years of experience leading product and business operations teams in the digital media and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) marketing sectors. A former television producer, Hilburn began her career at a national lifestyle network before moving into the digital commerce space, where she created and led video strategies for major retailers such as Petco. Most recently, at Marigold, she led cross-functional product operations, addressing customer pain points and business objectives. At Avid, he will lead the product management teams, pursuing a unified, strategic approach to deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower creators and reinforce Avid’s reputation for excellence in product delivery.
