Tedial to showcase new no-code collaboration features for smartWork at IBC 2024
Tedial’s SmartWork content management solution continues its unstoppable evolution at IBC 2024 (September 13 – 16, Amsterdam), where it will debut new codeless collaboration capabilities tailored to the latest media needs.
Tedial returns to IBC 2024 with the goal of “empowering” customers with “self-sufficiency” to free them from vendor constraints and the usually costly professional services through smartWork, services that offer broad flexibility by exploiting the full potential of the metadata world. In this regard, visitors to its booth will be able to see how smartWork I EVO provides flexible metadata services based on the EBUCorePlus model and structured in several microservices, including editorial, rights, strata, relationships, technical, collections, mediafile, delivery catalog and a robust search engine.
Another pillar of smartWork is its intuitive collaboration tools, which are accompanied by advanced cost analysis and “seamless” integrations with services and solutions such as OpenAI, AWS Transcribe, ElevenLabs, AWS EventBridge, Aspera On Cloud, DPX format, LTFS for on-premise storage and Harmonic Listener & Player. As part of IBC 2024, the Spanish company will continue to enhance the platform with the debut of new collaboration and no-code features, as well as security improvements with the implementation of ISO 27017 and the renewal of ISO 27001 and GPDR certifications.
Julián Fernández-Campón, CTO of Tedial, explains additional key features of this smartWork upgrade that will be released during the Dutch trade show: “In the M&E industry, various organizations have distinct needs based on their specific business focus. smartWork is designed to cater to this diversity by providing a range of key business services such as news, post-production, delivery to playout or OTT, sports, localization, and more, readily available. Alongside collaboration, cost analysis, and multiple new integrations, this update showcases numerous highlights, enhancing the cloud-native, no-code essence of smartWork”.
