Brainstorm to showcase new Suite 6 (eStudio, InfinitySet and Aston) at NAB 2024
Suite 6, the latest version of InfinitySet, Aston and eStudio, will be the focus of Brainstorm’s vision for NAB 2024, which will address all possibilities in the areas of virtual production, real-time 3D graphics, news workflows and immersive presentations.
Brainstorming will demonstrate all the possibilities of Suite 6 through a demo centered on an election program. This staging will combine virtual production in InfinitySet using Unreal Engine 5 with “industry-unique” features such as multiple scenes, actor teleportation and AR graphics, including a transparent touch screen, which allows 3D graphics to be displayed in context and provides additional control of the show by the presenters.
The main demo will also feature a collaboration with XD Motion, an international expert in aerial filming and multidimensional tracking solutions based on innovative gyro-stabilized systems. Also on display at this showcase will be InfinitySet’s new Dual-GPU capabilities, which allow the entire demo to be controlled with a single workstation, handling virtual production with set extension and color correction, camera inputs, AR graphics and interactive graphics, among other features such as real-time extra-rendering and set extension with color-matching 3D LUTs, in-context AR motion graphics, fully immersive actor teleport, multi-background content and more. InfinitySet 6 also supports SMPTE 2110, demonstrating its ability to work with the latest broadcast workflows.
Additionally, Brainstorm will focus on Aston, which can provide designers with the most advanced tools for data-driven and context-based AR graphics that can be displayed in immersive virtual environments (including UEI scenes) and interact with the scene and actors; Neuron, Brainstorm’s graphics and traffic management solution updated to be HTML5-based, opening the door to more flexible integration with a variety of solutions for digital newsroom operation, including Octopus, Etere or Snews; the Edison ecosystem, including EdisonGO (capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad) or Edison OnDemand (solution to facilitate the playback of a presentation in an immersive environment from an iPad), and new collaborations with companies such as Accuweather, Etere, Snews, Telycam and XD Motion, further expanding the already extensive ecosystem of partner companies.
Ricardo Montesa, CEO and founder of Brainstorming, explains that the company is delighted to be “exhibiting at NAB” so that “we can demonstrate the amazing possibilities our product range provides any content creators to produce the best possible virtual content.” “Now that Virtual Production is increasingly common in broadcast and film, Brainstorm can help its users with the decades-long experience of the company in virtual production, real-time 3D graphics and immersive presentations,” he said.
