Hi Human Interface landet auf dem Hauptübertragungswagen von RTVE
Unitecnic Und Broadcast-Lösungen has installed in the largest mobile unit of the spanish broadcaster RTVE the hi human interface system, a solution that relies on a user-friendly graphical interface for system control.
Hi human interface, a solution supplied to RTVE by Unitecnic, Broadcast Solutions’ partner in Spain, seeks to “revolutionize” the control of OB vehicles systems through several ways. Among them, highlights the use of auto-discovery technologies; a template-based configuration to reduce the workload of installation and configuration; its graphical interface, which allows anyone accustomed to smartphones can handle “without problems” complex productions, or its detection, management and control of Dante, NDI and SMPTE 2110 networks in the same environment.
The initial installation on the RTVE 24-camera OB truck was completed in less than two days and was reinforced with training by Unitecnic for the RTVE team. The redundancy of hi human interface in this vehicle is “guaranteed”, according to Broadcast Solutions, through a cluster of three high-availability servers, while control can be managed from “any device” using any web browser.
The RTVE first OB truck with hi human interface is already in service, successfully managing major television hits such as the Goya Awards and Benidorm Fest, as well as major sporting events. Initially, the contract between RTVE and Unitecnic covered three OB vehicles, although a second contract has just been signed for another five. RTVE justifies this decision on the grounds that hi human interface “has greatly simplified the delivery of rapid changes in configuration between vastly different productions, making it the ideal solution for their OB vans needs.”
Humphrey Hoch, product manager for hi human interface, adds, “Hi human interface, is a revolutionary control system that goes beyond conventional solutions. Designed to make work easier for individuals, hi human interface allows for effortless configuration and requires minimal training. With this groundbreaking system, users can fully focus on their work without the fear of complex systems.”
