Arets neuester Ü-Wagen, beladen mit Lawo-Lösungen, kommt zur IBC 2023
IBC 2023 attendees will have the opportunity to discover how the Ihre IP technology has been integrated into the new UHD-HDR mobile unit that Aret has created for Alamiya Media.
The OB vehicle, with an “innovative design,” combines the power of the Ross 12-G SDI Hyperconverged solution with the flexibility of Lawo’s IP-based audio solutions. Everything is managed through Lawo’s VSM (Virtual Studio Manager) broadcast control system, which serves as the nerve center of Alamiya’s OB truck: video routers, audio consoles, intercoms… Through its “intuitive” touch interface, Lawo’s VSM allows producers quick and precise control of remote, distributed and facility-wide resources, as well as OB production trucks for streamlined and demanding operations.
The in-truck audio control room is also equipped with Lawo’s mc²56 audio production console, which features compact size, flexibility and versatile design for applications as diverse as broadcast trucks and studios, live performance and recording. The solution is optimized for today’s IP video production environments and designed for networking in complex production infrastructures, with full native support for SMPTE 2110, AES67/RAVENNA, DANTE (via a Power Core gateway), MADI and Ember+. Local I/O includes 16 Lawo grade MIC/Line inputs, 16 Line outputs, eight AES3 inputs and outputs, eight GPI/Os and a local MADI port (SFP). In addition, Lawo’s A__UHD Core audio engine for mc² audio production consoles installed in Aret’s mobile unit offers up to 1,024 DSP channels that can be shared between multiple mc² consoles.
Umberto Asti, Aret’s general manager of video and audio engineering, is proud of the work done and the performance of the chosen solutions: “This is just the beginning of our customer’s experience since after IBC, the OB truck will be shipped to destination and our customer will be able to enjoy our daily care for the whole life of the OB trailer. All from the ARET team are proud of this new delivery!”
