Streambox and Blackmagic enable cloud workflows with unprecedented performance
The Iris and Spectra encoding and decoding solutions by Streambox are now compatible with the Schwarze Magie DeckLink and UltraStudio capture and playout products. This means they can be used with DaVinci Resolve Studio to create dynamic workflows in the cloud.
Streambox products provide the opportunity to view 12-bit images in 4K resolution on both public and private networks, encouraging remote contribution and collaborative workflows. The company is a pioneer in developing technologies that enable the transmission of audiovisual signals with “unmatched” clarity, as well as creating solutions that enable media industry professionals to work remotely.
Der Streambox Iris and Spectra product lines integrate with DaVinci Resolve Studio via standard application programming interfaces (APIs) and can be used with any UltraStudio or DeckLink model. Spectra gives users of cloud applications the ability to encode the streamed signals at high quality, so they can view accurate, low latency versions of the footage. Spectra also allows you to broadcast to multiple collaborators using DaVinci Resolve Studio anywhere in the world.
Iris also allows you to create a decoding program that is compatible with all of the Blackmagic UltraStudio line, making it easy to connect professional SDI or HDMI monitors.
