Fujinon lenses to star in virtual production workflows at NAB 2022 with Mo-Sys and APG Media
Fujifilm will showcase Fujinon zoom lens metadata for virtual production workflows at NAB Show 2022 in collaboration with Mo-Sys Und APG Media.
Der Fujifilm role in the growing world of virtual production and augmented reality will be showcased in collaboration with Mo-Sys Und APG Media. Using Fujinon film and TV lenses with StarTracker camera tracking technology from Mo-Sys and a state-of-the-art LED wall with a 1.5mm pixel pitch from APG Media, Fujifilm will demonstrate an end-to-end LED production workflow, highlighting the benefits of designing a solution specifically for virtual film and TV production.
Stosh Durbacz, Fujifilm North America Corporation’s national sales manager for the optical devices division, shared how the company is “excited” to “bring attendees into the world of virtual production and augmented reality on site by displaying and demonstrating products designed to improve production workflows.”
“We are proud to partner with Mo-Sys and APG to educate the NAB Show community about the technology and capabilities available and required to accommodate the needs of this emerging market segment,” he added.

Beyond this workflow, Fujinon will bring to NAB 2022 a number of important solutions that suit multiple environments within the production world: the UA107x8.4AF (Auto Focus) lens, designed for fast and accurate subject tracking performance, which will be mounted on a Mo-Sys U50 remote head; the Premista series large format cine lenses, which will be shown with the new Chrosziel drive unit and Zeiss eXtended Data; Fujinon’s portable broadcast zooms, equipped with S10 digital drive units to support modern remote and robotic shooting needs; the UA125x8 4K-compatible broadcast lens; the UA46x9.5 portable 4K lens with Super 35 Musashi expander, which offers a 24-1100mm reach at a relatively light weight, and updated zoom and focus controllers for Fujinon handheld and box lenses.
All of these solutions will be on display at the Fujifilm booth (C6127) from 23-27 April 2022 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
