Aviwest introduces LiveGuest, a solution to simplify live remote interviews

Integrable with “any” live production platform, LiveGuest by Aviwest comes to offer broadcasters a solution to make live remote interviewing easier.

LiveGuest integrates directly into broadcasters’ production systems and does not require “any web application or software”. The Aviwest solution, which runs in any web browser, allows guests to connect to a live video call with a TV station by clicking on an email link via a laptop. The development, intended for broadcast workflows, includes interesting developments to make these connections more organic and natural. Thus, it supports two-way video return, allowing guests to receive, see and hear the content being produced in the studio; and it features automated echo cancellation, which “ensures that no audio feedback or echo is heard during the interview.”

Its workflow is simple: video content is received in the studio by Aviwest StreamHub. From this position, it can be sent via SDI, NDI, or through multiple IP outputs such as SRT, TS or RTMP. In addition to providing broadcasters with live production platform connectivity, the LiveGuest solution streams content to major social media platforms such as Auf YouTube (Englisch), Twitch, and Facebook.
