Media Mania integrates the Ross Video Ultrix Acuity production platform into its latest mobile unit
Der Ross-Video Ultrix Acuity production platform has been integrated into the Medienwahn state-of-the-art 12G 4K UHD OB van.
Medienwahn is one of the few companies in the UAE that designs, builds and operates OB vans, managing various campaigns and productions for many respected high-profile local and international broadcast and ministry clients. After spending just over 12 months reviewing broadcast industry vendors and the various solutions they offer, Media Mania decided to invest in the Ross Video Ultrix Acuity production platform, a production solution that combines the company’s flagship Acuity production switcher with the Ultrix software-defined routing/AV processing product. This solution will form the backbone of a mobile unit that will be used to create international sports productions.
Media Mania CEO Roland Daou is pleased with the relationship established with Ross Video: “After many months of assessing the broadcast industry, it was clear that Ross Video’s local team in the region and the innovative software-defined technology met our technical and operational requirements. We are delighted to put our third OB van on the road to start producing exciting and innovative productions all over the Middle East.”
Andererseits, Benoit Rousseil, Ross Video’s regional sales director for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa, is delighted to welcome Media Mani: “We are very grateful for the trust that Media Mania has shown in Ross, and we’re very pleased to be part of this innovative project. Our local team and our technology both played crucial roles in convincing Media Mania Ross is the right technology partner for them, and our continually expanding footprint in the UAE is a big part of that story. We are very excited to be working with such a prestigious client in the Middle East and can’t wait to see how they will innovate using our latest Hyperconverged production platform.”
