Ross Video organizes a virtual career fair to further expand its team
After surpassing the goal of 1,000 workers at the beginning of 2021, Ross-Video has decided to organize a virtual career fair with the aim of advancing its new challenge of reaching 1,250 employees.
The meeting will take place on November 17 and will offer a selection of the 100 jobs that Ross-Video plans to offer over the next nine months. Cathy McCallion, head of recruitment strategy at Ross Video, gives more details about the appointment: “We have a great many roles to fill within Ross and these are across a variety of disciplines – commercial and technical – and in a number of countries. 2021 has been another challenging year for our industry but we remain committed to our long-term plan for the growth of the business. This plan depends on us recruiting the best possible people and this virtual career event will enable candidates from around the world to meet with Ross specialists, discuss our company and our culture, and learn more about the exciting industry we work in.”
On the other hand, McCallion highlights how Ross Video has continued its work despite the effects of the pandemic: “We are certainly not downplaying the difficulties everyone has faced over the last two years, and it would be disingenuous to do so, but our company remains strong, and it is important that we continue looking to the future. David Ross, our CEO, has referred to the pandemic as a “painful bump in the road”, and I think our continued focus on expansion and recruitment reflects that view. We’re very much looking forward to meeting potential candidates from around the world at our career fair. Our last event was incredibly popular so I would encourage anyone interested in joining us to register early to avoid disappointment.”
