AWS Elemental Link UHD

AWS Elemental Link UHD, the latest high-efficiency encoder from Amazon Web Services, is now available.

AWS Elemental Link UHD seeks to make it “simple and cost-effective” to connect a live Ultra High Definition (UHD) video source, such as a camera or other video production equipment, to AWS Elemental MediaLive for video processing in the AWS Cloud. Beyond the basic functions that can accompany such an encoder, Link UHD is capable of creating HDR 10 and HLG channels, and “sending” them to MediaLive for content to be streamed.

All AWS Elemental Link devices work with AWS Elemental MediaLive, which is part of AWS.

Among its main strengths is its ease of implementation. Link UHD Und Link HD devices are shipped configured to the user’s AWS account, and can be remotely controlled and monitored via the MediaLive console.
