Ross video to offer a face-to-face experience at IBC 2022
After months of uncertainty, Ross Video has confirmed that it will not miss IBC 2022, which will once again be held at the RAI in Amsterdam from 9-12 September.
Ross Video is approaching its presence at IBC 2022 in the same way it did NAB 2022: with a small booth focused on delivering a “face-to-face experience to enable collaboration and facilitate in-person conversation, to connect with the community and unlock innovation.”
Jeff Moore, executive vice president of Ross Video, acknowledges that the company has “missed” what “IBC offers the industry”: “Throughout the last two years, we have communicated the advancements in our offerings directly with our customers, but we believe that there’s still a place for face-to-face connections, which allows for different levels of communication and understanding,” he says. Moore accompanied his remarks with a statement that could help clear up the equation for the Canadian company’s upcoming face-to-face events: “We believe the time is right for the resumption of large trade shows.”
Meanwhile, Michael Crimp, CEO of إبك, welcomes the addition of Ross Video and sais about the event: “IBC 2022 will be an exciting live event that gives every attendee the chance to gain valuable insights, share expertise and unlock new opportunities. We’ve already seen how the return of live events is reinvigorating the industry and, at IBC2022, we will enable everyone on our show floor to get back to business in the face-to-face way they love.”
