Grenke Spain brings its corporate content to life with Blackmagic Design solutions
URSA Broadcast G2 and Studio Camera 4K Pro cameras, among other Blackmagic equipment, have allowed to enhance the hybrid events of Grenke Spain.
The Grenke Spain team and the creative advertising agency Super-Web have decided to trust EVT Productions to design and produce the company’s hybrid events while maintaining a professional style and achieving great visual fidelity.
Capturing content in the main studio requires three cameras: two URSA Broadcast G2 and a Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro. Due to the low natural light in the Grenke Spain office, the production team often deploys several Falcon Eyes LED panels on the sides of the set, as well as benefiting from the dual native ISO of the Blackmagic cameras.
The URSA Broadcast G2 and Studio Camera 4K Pro are controlled remotely via an SDI connection from an ATEM Camera Control Panel device, which in turn is connected to multiple HyperDeck Studio HD Mini recorders to record the HD and mixer signals. In addition, the isolated signals from each camera were recorded separately in Blackmagic RAW format.
4K capture, HD output
The signal from each camera, beyond the recorders, goes to an ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K mixer located in a nearby meeting room in Grenke Spain’s own office.
The main signal is streamed via YouTube at 1080p resolution from the vMix system using a DeckLink 8K Pro capture and playback card. Two DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K cards were also used to monitor the images transmitted from the vMix system, as well as several DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K cards for the purpose of mixing the signals for chrominance compositing.
Carlos Morata, technical director of EVT, celebrates that having Blackmagic equipment allows them to “guarantee that we can continue to support the creative ambition of all our clients,” as well as “deliver broadcast worthy 4K content”.
